Bristolian art disco duo Getdown Services bundle their new EP 'Primordial Slot Machine' with their already beloved 'Your Medal's In The Post' EP on a special edition limited vinyl. There's rarely as much consensus around hyped new bands as there is with this lot - their doing things in a way that's turning heads apace thanks to brilliantly quotable one liners and eclectic genre-blending beats. 'Eat Quiche, Sleep, Repeat' has an air of The Streets but packs more humour. And the track 'James Bay's Hat' is an expletive loaded long overdue slamming of the British pop star's chosen headgear and it's hard to imagine a riposte. In a game of lyrical baiting one-upmanship, few would come up trumps against Getdown Services.
