LP : Georges Arvanitas Trio ?– In Concert

French pressing from 1970 on FUTURA RECORDS, GER 11. First press yellow labels, cover is plain ( non-gatefold). Liner-notes in French on the non-laminated back, front is laminated. Recorded live at the “Centre Culturel Américain” on November 25, 1969 and on January 27, 1970. Deep and intense modern hard-bop on 4 self-penned tracks, the most adventurous being the long “Indian”; you can listen to 2 complete tunes on youtube: “Ah ! le chat ” & “Colchique Dans Les Prés”.

I offer another LP ft. the G.ARVANITAS TRIO in my current auctions: TED CURSON/CATTIN' CURSON on the French MARGE label, wich is a sub-label of FUTURA, on this one the Arvanitas Trio teams up with Ted Curson and Chris Woods on a great 1973 recording.

Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint-- to ex++ under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint- all of the time, top ! One of the labels has a very small sticker by SACEM (the French Society of Authors, Composers and Editors of Music).

The thin & tight cover shows only light shelfwear, all seams/spine are intact without any rub, the laminated front is real fine with just a hint of ringwear, the non-lamintated back shows little ringwear and has a few tiny stains/age-spots, there is a sticker of the distribution-company “musica records” in the lower right corner and a little above there's the half of a small price-code sticker; overall vg+.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- bis ex++ aus. Sie spielt durchgehend in mint- , Top ! Eine der Labeletiketten hat einen kleinen Aufkleber der SACEM ( = französische GEMA).

Das enge und sehr dünne Einfach-Cover hat nur leichte Lagerspuren, alle Kanten sind intakt und ohne Abrieb, die laminierte Vorderseite ist sehr schön erhalten mit nur einem Hauch von Ringwear, die Rückseite hat ein wenig Ringwear und ein paar kleine Fleckchen/Alterssprenkel, in der unteren rechten Ecke ist ein Aufkleber des Vertriebs “musica records” und weiter oben ist die Hälfte eines Preiscode-Aufklebers vorhanden; insgesamt in vg+.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
