GEORGE MARTIN ORCH - LONDON BY GEORGE - Original U.A. LP This is the original U.S.A. UNITED ARTISTS pressing from 1968. It followed his several popular instrumental cover albums of BEATLES songs, recordings that took on a certain special-ness due to Martin's ever close connection to the singers. This album does not strictly fall within that group, being the last of his collections of this nature, but it does have two of the top Lennon & McCartney songs among the other contemporary tunes of the day, as well as 3 Martin originals (identified below with **).
