in the early 1970s I visited B&C Records in London at their offices in 37 Soho Square - the shelves in their stockroom were heavy with the weight of hundreds of superb albums issued on various of the B&C offshoots including Stable, Pegasus and, of course, most importantly, Charisma - many of these LPs were already so special to me that I decided to buy spare copies of as many as I could afford - I wanted to add them to an unplayed archive collection of classics from the era on the four main progressive labels: Island, Harvest, Vertigo and Charisma - these records have remained in my care for over 30 years, stored in perfect archival conditions and hardly ever handled or inspected - every so often I release a copy or two for sale and have also endeavoured to increase my stock of mint unplayed records from collections both large and small - an original 1970 pink ‘scroll’ 1st pressing in superb mint condition - the noticeably heavy and thick original disc is mint - not even any hairlines or paper scuffs - labels beautiful - both are perfectly sharp, clean and bright - no wear to the spindle holes - probably played once or twice at most - the textured cover is seriously amazing - 100% faultless, perfect and as-new - immaculate spine, opening edges, corners, seams, interior - totally brand-new throughout - just as it would have been when originally issued an incredible 34 years ago - includes the rare original pale green ornately decorated lyric insert (later changed to white before being discontinued) - snow-white poly-lined inner bag with pale blue lettering - it would be impossible to find a finer copy than this perfect example of the best and most memorable LP the band ever made - never seen now in this beautiful condition - NO RESERVE
