GENESIS - Trespass LP (UK Charisma "pink scroll", 1970) + original thin, greenish/greyish insert
This is mega rare UK 1st pressing (with earliest A2 / B2 matrixes) in beautiful, TEXTURED cover - with original dark grey insert and with TOP vinyl. This title is always more or less used - mostly covered with light, surface marks, but THIS COPY IS NOT! THIS COPY IS HARDLY POSSIBLE TO UPGRADE!
It should be remembered that PINK SCROLL editions were very bad sellers and just 12 000 original, 1st pressing copies were sold before it was re-released on Mad Hatter label in late 1972!
Cover: NEAR MINT Very stiff & textured (on outside and inside) Ernest J. Day gatefold cover is just PERFECT! Like new! NO sign of use! NO single crease or wrinkle! The opening edges are razor sharp! Absolutely NO wears on top and bottom edges. The spine is in pristine shape - with NO single place of wear - nothing! The ultra-thin and fragile insert has some light 'thumbnails'.
Record: NEAR MINT The very heavy vinyl was played maybe 3-4 times! Top audio with occasional, single clicks or light noises 'here and there' (as it happens on all PINK SCROLL Charisma pressings) and absolutely NO distortions! Absolutely NO surface marks! Under the strong light some 4-5 short hairlines are visible on dead wax - around the label. The labels are clean - with no wears at all.
You can bid with confidence – check my feedback, please. My grading system is very strict – with very slight difference between M and EX. As a collector too I perfectly know, what does it mean to buy an overgraded record!!!
All my records (including 7-inches) were cleaned on Clearaudio Matrix machine and are ready to listen – without any disturbing noises or crackles caused by dirt.
