GENESIS: Counting Out Time c/w Riding The Scree
Charisma Records 6073 357 / West German release with picture sleeve
Description
Record displays a fair amount of wear, mainly surface marks and the a few faint scratches; sleeve is in good condition with wear to the front and back; creasing, ring-wear, split seam at the bottom and a few light tears. Previously owned by the late Peter Vickers, well known within the Genesis community.

Grading
I use Record Collector magazine’s grading system to state the condition of each item – record, sleeve, etc., and check each item visually under LED lighting for

Mint (Record): Is in new/perfect condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve: Is mint and any additional items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent (Record): Shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. Sleeve: The sleeve and packaging might have slight wear and, or creasing.
Very Good (Record): Has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve: Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (Record): Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Sleeve: Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair (Record): Is still playable, but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. Sleeve: Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
