· CONDITION:
· RECORD
(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)
(a) THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY, PERFECTLY MINT, as if never played before. The original luster is totally intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles like brand new. The labels look perfect, simply gorgeous, with absolutely no trace of wear around the spindle hole. The record is TOTAL PERFECTION - ABSOLUTE VISUAL NIRVANA! We are confident that, in this condition, the record we present here is truly once-in-a-lifetime find.
(b) The records come in their original poly-lined stock inner sleeves, which have - apparently with success - shielded the vinyl from the harmful impact of elements over many years!
(c) The album comes with its original 45 rpm, 7” interview bonus disc
(d) The album includes original book still intact.
(e) The records are pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!
(f) In addition, the records are pressed on a beautiful, high-quality, virgin-grade vinyl, which is usually used for audiophile, extended-dynamic-range, half-speed mastered and connoisseur pressings.
(g) Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

(h) THE ALBUM IS STILL FACTORY SEALED AND IS BELIEVED TO BE PERFECTLY MINT. Please note: sealed items are assumed to be mint and are sold as-is, as we have no way of inspecting them. For our policy on still sealed records ►click here (PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING A BID).
(i) THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY, PERFECTLY MINT, as if never played before.
(j) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG NEAR MINT. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
(k) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS NEAR MINT. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs - are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible, and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
(l) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS BORDERLINE NEAR MINT. This album probably does not qualify to be graded NEAR MINT by using stringent, rigorous grading – but, in our opinion, it is very close to NEAR MINT. At our own risk, we will grade it as NEAR MINT, but be forewarned: if you are rigorous and demanding collector, this album may be VG++ for your standards, or below your expectations. Some light abrasions and sleeve scuffs are visible, but are probably not sufficient to significantly lower the overall grade. Please inquire if you need more information.
(m) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS EXCELLENT. This is one of those albums that are somewhat difficult to grade. It is somewhere between VG++ and NEAR MINT, just a notch below NEAR MINT. A few light abrasions ARE visible, but they are extremely shallow, superficial and only moderately visually distracting (nothing significant). For the most part, the vinyl looks impeccable without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
(n) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG VG++, just a notch below NEAR MINT. A few light abrasions (probably just sleeve scuffs inflicted in storage over the years) ARE VISIBLE, but they appear fairly insignificant relative to the overall condition of the vinyl, and are only moderately visually distracting. For most part, the vinyl looks impeccable, without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
(o) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG VG+. A few light abrasions (probably just sleeve scuffs
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (less than ¼ inch / 6 mm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (less than ½ inch / 1.2 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (less than ¾ inch / 1.8 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (less than 1 inch / 2.5 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (less than 1.1/2 inch / 4 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe one or two scratches (about 2 inches / 5 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe three or four scratches (less than ½ inch / 1.2 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe three or four scratches (less than ¾ inch / 1.8 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe three or four scratches (less than 1 inch / 2.5 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe three or four scratches (less than 1.1/2 inch / 4 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and maybe three or four scratches (about 2 inches / 5 cm in
inflicted in storage over the years) and one very long scratch - shallow, superficial and probably inaudible - extending along one entire side, (the scratch is about 4 inches /10 centimeters in
length), but these appear fairly insignificant relative to the overall condition of the vinyl, and are only moderately visually distracting. For the most part, vinyl looks VERY clean, without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
(p) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG VERY GOOD+ . CAUTION: The vinyl is NOT MINT or NEAR MINT, but is nevertheless in a very nice and clean condition. There are some surface marks and abrasions, mostly light and superficial, although some may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters)
These abrasions CAN be felt under the tip of the finger, and we suspect that they are audible.
We could not "feel" these abrasions with our fingertip, and we suspect that they are NOT audible.
(q) THE VINYL IS IN DECENT, VERY GOOD (VG) CONDITION. CAUTION: The vinyl is NOT MINT or NEAR MINT, but is nevertheless in clean, playable condition. There are a few surface marks and abrasions, mostly light and superficial, although some may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters) and a few others that might cause short periods of pops and clicks, specially during the low, quiet passages.
(r) CAUTION! The vinyl is only VERY GOOD (-)- TO VERY GOOD, with multiple, numerous, small scuffs and scratches which are BOTH visible AND audible. The record plays with light and tolerable BUT AUDIBLE surface noise and occasional pops and clicks. The record plays without skipping throughout. This record WAS play-graded.
(s) CAUTION! The vinyl is only GOOD TO GOOD+, with multiple, numerous, scuffs which are BOTH visible AND audible. The record plays with bearable BUT AUDIBLE surface noise and some pops and clicks. The record plays without skipping throughout. This record WAS play-graded.
(t) CAUTION! The vinyl is only GOOD TO GOOD+, with multiple, numerous, scuffs which are BOTH visible AND audible. The record plays with bearable BUT AUDIBLE surface noise and some pops and clicks. The record plays without skipping throughout. This record WAS play-graded.
(u) CAUTION: The vinyl is only FAIR TO GOOD and probably not suitable for repeated, continued playing. Nevertheless, the record plays fine and without skipping, but with considerable, annoying and audible hiss, surface noise and clicks and pops. This record WAS play-graded.
(v) CAUTION: The vinyl is in barely FAIR condition and probably more interesting as a conversation piece and historical artifact than as a viable recording suitable for repeated, continued playing. This record may or may not play fine and without skipping, but we did not play it and we have no way of knowing how – or if at all – it will play. Please be guided accordingly.
DISCLAIMER:
(w) A note about the condition of this record: as you can see, the condition of this album is not mint or near mint; however, we will never stop marveling at how these old records, despite their wear and tear STILL manage to play almost two levels above their visual grade. Simply put: the record plays much better than it looks. This record WAS play-graded.
(x) Important disclosure: VISUALLY, THE RECORD is STRONG VERY GOOD+(+). HOWEVER, WE CAUTION THAT a bad groove causes the record to skip on side 2. The buyer can probably correct this by using a different stylus, adjusting the proper tone arm calibration, tracking force or pressure.
(y) Important disclosure: VISUALLY, THE RECORD is EXCELLENT . HOWEVER, WE CAUTION THAT a bad groove causes the record to 'stick' (repeat the same groove all over again) on one spot on side 1. The bad groove is an isolated accident and does not repeat elsewhere on the record, BUT the buyer will have to manually reposition the tonearm on this spot in order to allow the record to continue playing the next track.
(z) Important disclosure: VISUALLY, THE RECORD is STRONG VERY GOOD+(+). HOWEVER, WE CAUTION THAT a record has a slight warp – a deviance of about 1 degree from its horizontal axis. This has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT ON PLAYING and is only a minor visual distraction.
(aa) Important disclosure: VISUALLY, THE RECORD is STRONG VERY GOOD+(+). HOWEVER, WE CAUTION THAT a low-grade, heavily carbonated vinyl (typical of the budget labels of the 1950’s and 1960’s) used for this pressing has some 'bubbles' on the surface. This minor manufacturing flaw does not have any significant effect on playing (the record does NOT skip or 'stick' during the playback) but might cause a light click or pop here and there)
(bb) This album is presented here mostly for its historical value and as a very rare item, which can be exceedingly difficult to find in any other condition
(cc) The record has a few "dots" scattered here and there on the surface of the vinyl (these dots are a visible, but almost certainly not audible). These "dots" are usually a result of either (a) exertion of pressure on the record THROUGH the cover, or the record being stored too tightly, or (b) low-quality paper inner sleeve which lightly irritated parts of the record surface over time.
(dd) Light loss of surface sheen / luster noted; possibly a result of some mild groove wear.
LABELS
(ee) The record has some minor writing on the label on one side.
(ff) The record has a small stamp on the label on one side.
(gg) The record has a small sticker on the label on one side, which may be possible to remove (we did not attempt to).
(hh) The record has a few spindle hole marks on both labels.
(ii) The label on one side of the record has a small peel-off mark
(jj) The label is beginning to unglue (detach) from the record, apparently from the poor quality glue used to affix the label; this can be easily fixed with a minor effort, but we did not attempt to.

(vv) The album comes with its original, 'rice paper' inner sleeve (typically used in the 50’s and very early 60’s) which has - apparently with success - shielded the vinyl from the harmful impact of elements over many years! We believe that, despite great technological progress, these early 'rice paper' inner sleeves provided a degree of protection MUCH HIGHER than any other material used ever since.
