Description

For auction is GENE AMMONS' "Up Tight!" on Prestige PR 7208, MONO, DG, RVG, 1961. With Walter Bishop, George Duvivier, Art Taylor, Ray Barretto, others.

SOUND: NM/MINT

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Fantastic, powerful, brilliant sound! No reservations!

VINYL: VG+ or better

The vinyl is in very nice condition, with a few faint scuffs or hairline marks either side. All look superficial. The labels are deep-grooved gold/black "fireworks" with "RVG" stamped in dead wax. Labels are Bergenfield address, in great condition. Side A has a red "promo"stamp on it.

JACKET: VG+ or better

The edges and spine are solid and in good condition. The corners are good, with a bit of minor, routine wear. The front is clean, with minor aging around the periphery. There is a small sticker in the upper right corner. The back has a "promo" sticker and a "property of," otherwise it's clean and very nice condition.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
