Post Review or Comment Review by antideath-ray Mar 03, 2010 One of the most famous and well-produced (due to the work of Oderso, also factotum of another strange italian combo, the 'Confusional Quartet') records of the whole italian-wave bunch, 'Sick Soundtracks' waves from the ultranervous mood of songs like 'Going Underground', 'Shock Antistatico' or 'Now I Want To Kill You' -that sometimes could remember the Contortions' ultrafunkpunk with a bit more minimal attitude- to the synthetic electrofunk of 'Japanese Girl' and 'Oil Tubes', that foreshadows the more dance-oriented music of the later recordings. On stage Gaznevada were considerably more noisy, loud and frenetic than the studio songs, showing a clear similarity with the no-wave approach. Vinyl & Sleeve in very good conditions.
