This is the very first Tubeway Army album pressed on limited blue vinyl from 1978. BEGA 4. Eventually, because of the unexpected success of this album, it was repressed on standard vinyl a year later with a different cover. This is also Gary Numan's first band before he became successful as a solo artist with "The Pleasure Principle" and his massive hit "Cars." (Many will also know him with his #1 hit, "Are 'Friends' Electric" from the other Tubeway Army album. Not this one.)
This record is from 1978. There will be pops and ticks. The vinyl itself literally looks unplayed; however, I don't feel comfortable giving it a NM- due to its age (although, some would.) That's why I'm giving it a VG+. The cover has a few dings which I've noted in the pictures. Each corner has some wear; the worse is the top left with about an inch bend. Because this is a gatefold, the wear on the cover comes through. There is approximately a 4" seam split on the vinyl portion of the cover. However, nothing affects the play of the vinyl. While I try very hard to describe the flaws on the cover, it truly is in good shape for its age and rarity.
