Description
Classic Australian hard-rock band AC DC are now collectable on a world-wide basis and no items are more sought-after than their early Australian-only Albert label 45's which featured original lead singer Bon Scott. I have a series of rare"A" label radio station promotional copies of most of their 45's to offer and here are the next two for your bidding. All of these radio station promotional copies are as rare as hen's teeth even here in Australia, and were pressed up by EMI in lots of 250 only for distribution to radio stations. This is the 6th Albert 45 from the band (from 1976) and made the local charts. One of the great immortal Australian rock records and well known in this country long before anyone from overseas was aware of the band. This is the 1st and original pressing with the famous "Kangaroo" Albert logo.
Whilst stock copies of this gem occasionally turn up, the "A" Label promotional copies do not. For some reason the promotional copies of the records that were local hits seem to be even harder to find than promotional copies of the records that did not chart. The stations would have hung onto them longer. They are also exceptionally hard to find in unplayed condition.
Albert Label AP 11265 - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap/R.I.P. (Rock In Peace) (Release Date Printed on "A" Side of label) 05/10/76 - Very clean & shiny labels.
Condition - EX - Had had very few plays and has only one very light mark on the "A" Side only - does not affect play, otherwise looks as new. Comes in original EMI paper sleeve.
