Description

Rare original New Zealand pressing GANDALF Gandalf LP ( Capitol ST 121 ) highly rated psych gem as originally released in NZ. In the 60's HMV in New Zealand released most obscure Capitol titles from the US on the rainbow label, then almost immediately withdrew and destroyed unsold copies thus creating guaranteed rarities. The original pressing runs were ridiculously small to start with, and titles such as this survive in quantities unlikely to be far into double digits. The Gandalf LP is something of a holy grail for local collectors, with few local collectors of NZ issued LP's holding copies. Laminated flipback cover is solid EX with only light general wear and a tiny store stamp on the back cover preventing higher grade - no tears, marks, splits, writing, ringwear or stickers and the spine is clear and tight. The disc is VG+ with light surface scuffing and a few hairlines. Airmail postage and packing is $10 Australia, $15 everywhere else.
