Original LP - not a bootleg or later reprint!
Very rare BBC In Concert radio show. Recorded live for BBC radio broadcast, not commercially available. Limited one run pressing of 50 copies. This is also a rare SQ (Stereo / Quadrophonic) - Version! Close to 1 hour commercial free live music. All BBC transcripts with stunning clean and dynamic sound quality. Absolutely great audio! This one is no exception. The premium of vinyl radio shows!
Please note: This is not the common reprint with black and white labels but the scarce original BBC pressing from 1977. Due to the limitation of some 50 copies the original pressings rarely turn up for sale!
'Benny Gallagher and Graham are a couple of soft- spoken Scots whose partnership as songwriters and performers has flourished since they first met in the early ‘60s. They were first employed as writers with the Beatles ‘Apple’ company where they started by writing songs for Mary Hopkin and went on to accompany her on tour through Europe and Japan. Scottish duo Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle gained world-wide acclaim with their album "Breakaway". In Concert performance at the Golders Green Hippodrome in London including songs from "Breakaway" and "Love on the Airwaves" album.'
