FRIJID PINK - DEFROSTED
"Defrosted" picks up where Frijid Pink's eponymous debut album left off. That is, it rocks from start to finish. The band, led by lead guitarist Gary Ray Thompson cranks out blues-based rock and roll Motor City style for 50 solid minutes. The album contains the single "Sing A Song For Freedom" which reached #55 on the charts, a disappointing follow up (chart wise) to "House of the Rising Sun" from their debut album which reached #7 in the summer of 1970, just months prior to the original release of "Defrosted".
