Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Freddie Redd “The Connection” on the West 63rd Street labels of Blue Note BLP 4027. The playing surface is generally in near-new condition, with a high luster, but has an inaudible scuff on Side 2 Track 1 and a handling mark at the end of Side 1 Track 1 that produces two light tics; Side 1 label shows a repair to “REDD”. The laminated New York 23 cover has the original serif typeface and is clean and bright throughout; small ding at the upper right corner.
