Freddie Hubbard on Blue Note 4196

 

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Freddie Hubbard “Blue Spirits” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4196.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with just a single inaudible pressing bump; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is in close to mint condition, still in its original shrink wrap with just 1” of the bottom seam exposed.
