Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Freddie Hubbard “Open Sesame” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4040.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated New York 23 cover is in exceptional condition – bright and clean throughout; slight wear at the bottom left and top right corners; superficial 1 ¼” crease at the bottom right corner. Personnel include Tina Brooks, McCoy Tyner, Sam Jones, and Clifford Jarvis. $1500.00.
