Description
Up for auction are a set of two, very rare, Frankie Laine picture discs, produced by Mercury records.
The first disc is a "Standing Eddie" and features songs "On The Sunny Side Of The Street" (which was a big hit for Frankie!), and "Blue Turning Grey Over You."
The second disc is a "Cartoon Eddie" and features songs "By The Light Of The Stars" and "Kiss Me Again."
These discs were issued to radio stations, and most were tossed out once they were no longer needed, no needless to say, not too many survived. They were issued in a set of four, so if you can find one picture disc you're very lucky. If you can find more than one, it's almost a miracle! Since Frankie has passed on, these discs will only increase in value.
The discs are from my personal collection and in excellent condition for their age. There are no dings, chips, cracks, and gouges in either disc.
