Description
I'm in the process of selling all my old vinyl. I haven't played any of my records for at least a decade, having replaced most of them with CDs many years ago. This is Fotheringay's first - and for a long time, thought to be their only album. (A second record, "Fotheringay 2" was eventually released in 2008). This was released in 38 years previously, in 1970, on the Island label - ILPS-9125. I'm sure I bought this when it first came out - although I very nearly didn't, because I thought the cover was dreadful. The record itself is in very good condition, with no marks or scratches on either side. The sleeve is also in good condition, with some minor marks on the spine. Please note that there is a small yellow self-adhesive start stuck to the record label on Side One, and another on the back of the sleeve, in the top right-hand corner - a relic of the days when I shared a large student flat.
Track Listings are:
Side One:
1. Nothing More
2. The Sea
3. The Ballad of Ned Kelly
4. Winter Winds
5. Peace In the End
Side Two:
1. The Way I Feel
2. The Pond and the Stream
3. Too Much of Nothing
4. Banks of the Nile
I will post the record anywhere in a stout card mailer with reinforcing inserts. Postage in the UK will be via First Class Post. Overseas posting will be via Royal Mail Small Packet Airmail service. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the item - please don't hesitate to ask.
