Ultra-Rare album by FOREST (SHVL 760).
For many prog collectors this album will need no introduction. Forest were a very early prog/folk band and made their art dealing with themes such as nature, mystery, magic and darkness.Their lyrics were always dark but very subtle. Arrangements were diverse and advanced. Related bands would be Comus and Dr.Strangely Strange to mention a few.This was their first album, later followed by Full Circle.
This copy is a nice one although it is by no means mint. The sleeve has wear on the spine and sides.The title on the spine is legible. The front has no mark or crease at all (very remarkable!!!), bar the sticker removal mark which has been skilfully touched in. The back is similarly nice with no mark. VG+++ because of the edge wear. Inner gatefold is EX to NM.
The vinyl plays very well with a minimal amount of background noise. A splendid pressing!!!! There are lines on each side and there are 2 clicks on track 3 side two. Overall the listening experience is very joyful. It is extremely hard to find a copy of this phenomenal album at all, they are your proverbial "hen's teeth"!!!!!!!!!! VG+++
