First Issue UK Mono Revolver Album With Rare Mix Of Tomorrow Never Knows.
An original 1966 very first issue UK ”Revolver” MONO album featuring the alternate take of the classic Beatles song “Tomorrow Never Knows” on Parlophone records. This is the first issue with the label featuring all black with the silver print and the yellow Parlophone logo.
Only a few thousand of these records were pressed making this one of the rarest Beatle records on earth! Production of this particular album was stopped on the order of George Martin, Beatle producer.
The Beatles were not happy with the mixing and effects on “Tomorrow Never Knows”. This album featured remix #11 with different fade outs and sounds. The song is 3 seconds longer on this album compared to the later released copies.
