Description

This is a wonderful box set of classical music called the Festival of Light Classical Music.  The set was recorded and manufactured especially for Reader’s Digest by the Custom Record Division of RCA and contains 12 records with works by 42 different composers.  The set was released in both Mono and Stereo versions and this is the Stereo version.  The set is beautifully packaged in a heavy cardboard cover with a photo slick of Renior’s Le Moulin De La Galette painting.  Inside the cover is a white, textured slipcase with silver lettering.  The top of the slipcase folds down to reveal the track listing.  There is also a 39-page booklet with composers' biographies/pictures and track listing information.  The vinyl is in Near Mint condition.  There are VERY slight scuffs on Records 3 and 4 but they do not affect the sound quality.  The remaining 10 records are all in pristine condition.  They have been play tested and play with no surface noise.  The sound quality is outstanding.
