BEAUTIFUL IRISH progressive rock band who scored a deal with the Dawn label and tried to break the UK market with solid albums and constant touring...sadly it only got them so far before the pressures of life on the road and a constant uphill struggle in the face of media apathy drove them on to the rocks in the mid seventies.

This was their debut album and it set the scene for what was to come perfectly. Boasting full colour gatefold-sleeve fantasy artwork and containing music to match, the album stands proud as one of the early seventies finest achievements. Think Jonesy, Ton Ton Macoute, Big Sleep, Titus Groan, Druid and Amazing Blondel for accurate reference points. Sure, its prog in the big way of Yes and Jethro Tull but the sentiments are much closer to home with compelling storylines, conceptual themes and a nod towards fellow Irish bounty hunters Horslips.

Long and complicated tracks abound and song title such as 'Lord Of Incubus', 'Olde Tyme Future', 'All Day Breaks With Dawn' and 'Graveyard Epistle' thrusts them into the centre court of all things hippy and dippy. I love them and hopefully so do you.

Vinyl: Beautiful clean condition - which is blood red vinyl when held to a light. A few spindle marks but virtually no other signs of use. One non-audible scuff visible under a bright light. Grades as MINT-!

Cover: No visible signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed textured gatefold cover. Rear panel has large tear due to H2o storage damage and inside gatefold is also discoloured due to the water penetration. Strangely it doesn't look too bad - looks like the fairy and horse look they are standing on the surface of a lake. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Grades as Vg+
