A pupil of MASSENET and FRANCK, in his youth a friend of ENESCO, the french composer ROPARTZ (1864-1955) will also be a great conductor and a teacher. He have had a great influence on Charles MUNCH who began in 1919 as first violin in his orchestra in Strasbourg.
