Description
This is an auction for the second Lp by British Rockers Free entitled "Free" released in the Uk in 1969 on the Pink Island label. This is a first press with the matrix numbers sp#4307-1A and sp#4308 1B and "bell sound" written in both run out grooves. This Lp is rare and getting harder to find.
The vinyl has retained a lovely sheen and looks great. Side 1 has a couple of light marks but is visually in Excellent condition. Side 2 has a couple of light scuffs over the first track so i would grade as visually very good. The Lp sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps. Overall the Audio is clear and vibrant. There is some light background noise and the odd light click and pop but i am hppy to grade the audio as Very Good. The labels are in Very Good condition and free of any writing.
The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition and looks great. There is a small area [about 2cm] of wear to the top of one gatefold but otherwise it looks really good.
Overall a very nice playable copy of this rare lp.

The cost of postage in Europe is £9.00 and will include international signed for as mandatory i will pay the extra cost. Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but this is due to problems experienced in the past. Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
