FREDDIE ROACH, "Brown Sugar";  Blue Note BLP 4168 (trail off dead wax BNLP 4168A/BNLP 4168B, Van Gelder both sides, ear both sides), 1964 Original. New York Label.   Mono.  Freddie Roach, organ with Joe Henderson, tenor sax; Eddie Wright, guitar and Clarence Johnston, drums. Beautiful soulful recording.  Vinyl is VG+/EX, clean, shiny with original glossy lustre, a few light hairline marks (seen under halogen lamp) and scuffs, one visible mark Side 2, cut 1 that does not seem to affect play.  Plays EX with some light surface noise in rare places. Labels are clean, no marks, near perfect.  Jacket is VG+/EX, solid, no splits or tears.  Front is very nice with one light marl lower left; back has light ring wear, three ink check marks beside title cut, a 1/2"X1/2" sticker BIEM upper left and sticker residue upper right, neither obscure any writing or graphics.  Includes original 25 Years of Blue Note inner sleeve.  Rare find in very decent condition!      Spirit of Sound Records, a one of a kind, independent Vinyl LP shop, located in Camden, Maine, is the area's newest and only record shop, featuring new and vintage vinyl from all genres, meticulously cleaned and graded (I scrutinize each LP under a halogen lamp) for customer satisfaction. Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.  
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
