FREDDIE REDD QUARTET: "THE CONNECTION" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #84027. Rare vintage jazz Lp! Stereo pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels (no dg). RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick shiny cardboard cover. The personnel: Jackie McLean/alto sax; Freddie Redd/piano; Michael Mattos/bass; Larry Ritchie/drums. The vinyl is in EX+ condition (beautiful gloss)!! Small initials written on one label only. The thick cover is in VG+ shape & displays nicely. There is some wear (approx. 2") at very top left edge. Small name written on back side by left edge. No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st Street, New York 23, N.Y. The songs are: Who Killed Cock Robin; Wigglin'; Music Forever; Time To Smile; Theme For Sister Salvation; Jim Dunn's Dilemma; O.D.
