Frankie Bones' Ghetto Technics is a pretty special collection that gets presented in two volumes. He is of course revered as one of the forefathers of techno and these tunes are some of the rarest and most sought-after slices of NYC techno, house and ghetto history, dripping with dark energy and pure warehouse rave aesthetics. They have been remastered for clarity and punch without sacrificing the original aesthetic, with some unreleased gems included too. 'Tech Anthem' is a real ear tickler such is the density of the synths and 'Jerk It' then brings a more riding rhythm with chopped up and disorientating vocal loops for pure club mayhem.
