There are several light hairline surface marks and some light scratches on both discs.  There are no track separations.  The sound quality is great but there is some light crackle and the occasional light click.  The labels (pictured) are in VERY GOOD condition.  The playing time is present for each side except for Side I where the playing time has been written at the top of the label in biro. 

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: EXCELLENT

The gatefold sleeve is in stunning condition.  There is no visible ringwear which is really unusual for these early Bizarre label sleeves.  The cover slicks are smooth and the print quality is stunning.  The spine is complete, undamaged and readable, there are a few tiny creases which are barely noticeable.  The edges and corners are in great condition although there is some extremely light scuffing to the edges.  It would be difficult to find a better original sleeve for this rare LP.

CONDITION OF INNER SLEEVES: EXCELLENT

Any Zappa collector will know that the 'Bizarre' inner sleeves are rarely found in great condition.  Most appear with discolouration and splits and heavy creasing.  These inner sleeves are in stunning condition there are no splits, the sleeves are not discoloured and there is virtually no creasing.  It would be near impossible to find better inner sleeves for this record.  Both inner sleeves have the printed order coupon for the Zapped compilation record, these are intact and have not been written on.  To protect the original inners I have placed the records in new polylined sleeves.

SUMMARY:

Zappa promos are extremely hard to find, especially early ones like this.  This is an ideal collectors item for any Zappa fan or record collector.  Although this copy does not have the "400 Days of the Year" misprint it is still extremely rare as a promo.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.

Please bid with confidence. I will always aim for the record to reach you in the same condition in which it leaves me, especially since having had disappointing experiences receiving badly packaged records.
