FOREST: Forest. Harvest UK stereo orig. Shvl 760. 1969

Well, here's one that doesn't turn up too often. Forest came from Lincolnshire, and were originally called The Foresters Of Walesby. They played an ethereal brand of psych/folk, and secured a deal with the new Harvest label for whom they made 2 albums. This is the first. The gatefold sleeve is in great shape. Nice and firm, with just some marks where a sticker has been removed (see pic top right). Without that blemish the sleeve would be a strong EX, however, I guess I can only grade it as VG+. The vinyl is in lovely condition, just a few very light surface marks. I'd grade this an easy EX. Very rare to find this album in such great condition.
