FORD FALCON OZ CUSTOM PRESSING “FALCON FESTIVAL”
I guess this was Ford’s response to “Holdin’ You In My Holden” The (a) side has 8 bands – most of which are devoted to telling the story of advance of motor travel and Fords in particular. This is all done in song and focus on Fords in Australia in particular. The (b) side contains ads for Falcons in a variety of musical styles. I can’t see how they were meant for radio because the label’s stamped “Not For Broadcast” Maybe they were give-aways to employees and dealers etc. There are a couple of marks. The only one that is serious is on one last track (an ‘ad’) where the needle jumps. A virtually unique Ford cultural artifact.
CONDITION WISE:
Record: VG Label: EX
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
