Original JAPANESE TRUE 1st pressing of 1971 with INSERT and stated initial price of 2000 Yen (1st press) and not the always offered later 2nd and 3rd issues at stated priced of 2300 yen.

GRADING:

LP Record: Excellent ~ Near Mint

Gatefold Jacket: Excellent, only defect some very faint mildew stains vaguely visible on back cover, apart from that NM

Insert: Mint, the always missing insert is present!!!

Some words on this issue: FLOWER TRAVELLIN’ BAND: “Satori” (Atlantic – P-8056A) TRUE ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING, not the 2nd pressing you are lead to believe is a 1st press on this auction site and such. 1st original pressing has 2000 Yen written on back jacket. Second pressing has 2300 yen listed on the jacket. (1st and 2nd pressings have the same catalogue number but different price tag on obi & jacket. 2300-yen version came out a year later as opposed to the 1st 2000-yen issue). Hardly ever seen a true 1st press. So without a doubt a great copy, the rarest version of FTB’s “Satori”. Mercurial second album by Japan’s best known seventies rock outfit. The record itself is an all time classic psychedelic masterpiece, maybe the band’s greatest output they have released during their lifetime. Satori is the band's second and arguably best album, alongside their debut “Anywhere”. Amazing top-level copy with always missing insert and record is near perfect. TRUE 1st pressing!!!!!!

Our grading scale: Mint/ Near Mint/ Excellent/ VG++/. We don’t sell anything below VG++. VG++ grade is basically that the record has some scuffs and has wear. Excellent: record has hardly no visible defects and is preserved with care and attention, the condition most collectors take pride in to file away. Near Mint: a dash below mint, just perfect. Mint: like new.
