Description

FLEETWOOD MAC RUMOURS rare original 1977 – “No Gothic Press” version VINYL LP. Complete with record inner sleeve and lyric/pictures insert.
Condition is Used. The white inner sleeve is yellowed with age and teh cover has slight markings on it from storage but the LP plays 100%.  Inner "sleeve" picture is in very good condition.
Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

Overall a very good condition original rare version of Rumours.

The words "Gothic Press" are missing from the foot of the back cover and on the the insert credits.  I believe this to be a variant of the original 1977 “No Gothic Press”  version listed in Discogs here :

https://www.discogs.com/Fleetwood-Mac-Rumours/release/9959319

It is almost identical to the details on this Discogs listing except the runout details in the notes section would appear to make it a different variant of the LP.

As far as I can tell the Side A runout is etched: S-23 K 56344 A5 (or possibly 145)  3 EG ALLEN

And the Side B runout is etched : S-308 K56344 B ALLEN 8 EG

But it’s very hard for me to see to be precise so I have included the best pictures I can of this.

So I believe this is a rare, 1977 ORIGINAL, undocumented variant of the “no Gothic press” version of this LP and as such makes it even more desirable – not least the fact that it happens to contain great music from a great band! ????

A great find (from our parent’s house) and a must for anyone's vinyl record collection.

Any questions (or additional photos) please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

Looks like ebay removed my link in discogs.  If you happen to go there then search for Fleetwood-Mac-Rumours/release/9959319, that will give you the biz on what this is ... almost ;-)

Postage is by Hermes rather than first class royal mail as incorrectly stated.
