Another from my personal collection of over 50,000 UK albums that I have collected over a period of more than 45 years! Original 1st UK pressing of Fleetwood Mac Rumours album on the original 1st UK Warner Brothers labels. This album was purchased from new and originally only ever played a hand ful of times and then played to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the cover and sleeve for protection. This is how I have always stored my records!  Together with very thicker and heavy vinyl (only early 1st Uk pressings) This album is complete with the original 1st UK issue cover un laminated (only 1st UK Press) in at least better than  excellent plus to near mint condition in my opinion together with the original insert lyric and picture poster inner! (rarely seen complete and in this exceptional condition.)
It is important to note that this album has many very quiet parts during the play and it is essential to have a very good vinyl to get the best audio experience. The audio is truly stunning through out! The audio is graded at Near as Mint through out! Any interference/static heard was extremely minimal in my opinion perhapes heard in isolated quiet places only.   Certainly the best sounding copy that I have heard astoundingly clear a vibrant very, very, very rare like this!   Over 42 years old like this!  Rumours is the eleventh studio album by English-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 4 February 1977 by Warner Bros. Records.

Largely recorded in California in 1976, it was produced by the band with Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut.

The band wanted to expand on the commercial success of their eponymous 1975 album, but struggled with relationship breakups before recording started.

The Rumours studio sessions were marked by hedonistic behaviour and interpersonal strife among band members, which shaped the album's lyrics.

Recorded with the intention of making "a pop album", the album's music featured a pop rock and soft rock sound characterized by accented rhythms and electric keyboards such as the Fender Rhodes or Hammond B3 organ.

The members partied and used cocaine for much of the recording sessions, and its completion was delayed by its mixing process, but was finished by the end of 1976.

Following the album's release, Fleetwood Mac undertook worldwide promotional tours. Rumours reached the top of both the US Billboard 200 and the United Kingdom Albums Chart, and became the band's most successful release. The songs "Go Your Own Way", "Dreams", "Don't Stop", and "You Make Loving Fun" were released as singles, all of which reached the US top 10.

Having won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1978, Rumours has since sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time, and has received diamond certifications in several countries, including the United States, Canada, and Australia. The album garnered widespread acclaim from critics, with praise centred on its production quality and harmonies, which frequently relied on the interplay among three vocalists and has inspired the work of musical acts in different genres.

Often considered Fleetwood Mac's best release, it has featured in several publications' lists of the best albums of the 1970s and of all time.

In 2004, Rumours was remastered and reissued with the addition of "Silver Springs", which had been excluded from the original due to tension within the band, and a bonus CD of outtakes from the recording sessions.

In 2018, the album was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry, being deemed "culturally, historically, or artistically significant" by the Library of Congress.

The labels
The original 1st UK pressing label variation for this album Warner Brothers labels (These look superb in my opinion) Barte minimal spider marks/trails seen when angled to the light, little if (no) spindle ware the hole is perfectly round. This has only ever been played barely a handful amount of times only from new when I initially purchased it and one time to play grade for this listing. So rare  for an album that is over 42 years old! Impossible to find like this! very very collectable! Early  UK pressings very rare in this condition!

The vinyl
The vinyl is absolutely superb! On initial visual inspection this looks superb and still retains its sheen from new! (please note this vinyl has only ever been  played a few times by me personally and I originally played this to record to tape! In the last 42 years this has been stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the sleeve and cover to prevent ring ware and damage. This is how I have always stored my records, and of course I played this again to play grade at very loud volume on a top system!  In fact even when I look at the playing surface angled to a strong light I find it hard notice any real surface marks or scratches. Any marks that could possible be seen when angled in strong light would be light whyspy surface sleeve removal type only.

The Audio Quality It is noted that this album features many very quiet places throughout and it is very very dificult to find a vinyl that produces lovely playback.
I have played this through track for track prior to listing at very very loud volume on a top system! WOW!, the moment the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious this vinyl has been carefully looked after!  The audio quality is as you would expect when purchased new, superbe, TOP, TOP, TOP! cristal clear and extremely vibrant through out in fact this plays truly superb.  Any interference noted was very minor and isolated in the form of minor static/ticks/crackle but nothing consistant throughout the audio. No loud constant clicks ticks or pops at all! A beauty!
This is without a dought one of the best copies that I have ever heard of this variation! Just listen to the bass lines very vibrant and real clarity very nice to hear like this and more importantly listen to how quiet it is in between tracks!  This played through superb unbelievable audio seperation, that I haven't heard like this before and stunning bassey feel throughout! One of the most vibrant sounding audio copies that I have heard and early pressing makes all the difference! Even in between tracks this was generally lovely and quiet which is rare to find especially with this album. This vinyl has been stored separately from the cover in a poly sleeve for over 42 years! This is the way I always  have stores my records!  Even in between tracks this is very quiet!   I would class myself as highly critical and this is a truly exceptional sounding vinyl   by this awesome rock band ''Pink Floyd'' and so hard to find tlike this! Please check my completed listings of records that I have sold of this quality and you will see that i normally get it right! I would grade the audio  at least near mint through out in my opinion

Please note! That i always make this disclaimer! Allowances must be made for these mid seventies genesis pressings. Please allow for the odd isolated static/ crackle/tick/light clicks that may be heard in quiet places or in between tracks, certainly not consistent throughout the audio. This is a genuine 42 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 42 year old system! Genuinly only barely ever played!

Points to note! This has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 42 years! A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves from laying dormant causes static crackle\ticks! A constant clean before each play is recommended ! This would reduce any static and enhance the audio quality!

The Record Sleeve
This is the original plain white paper record sleeve, clean and straight.  No splits or tears, light creasing with age only.

The Cover
The original 1st issue UK printed un laminated cover. Note These covers are very difficult to keep in good condition and being un laminated and flimsy by nature very prone to rubbing and creasing wear. Note:  There are (no) edge splits or tears and amazingly no real nasty creases worth to note.   The spine is generally lovely and  square with very slight/minor crushing only is noticed if looked for only in my opinion but truly exceptional indeed. No nasty rubbing or ring wear on the front or rear in fact amazingly no nasty creases worth to mention. Must be at least excellent plus to Near Mint in my opinion rarely ever seen like this after 42 years old!
The Inner/poster This is the original lyric picture/poster inner in perfect condition in my opinion! (Rare in this condition)
