Original album from 1973 on the white ‘two virgins’ label. Sold for 48p at the time it’s an aural adventure of experimental music. Not actually intended for official release, it’s a collection of home recordings made by the band for friends. The record consists of two long tracks with 26 passages. Some of the passages are short bursts of noise, hyped-up saxes, anarchic drums, or psychedelic echo sessions, but the majority of the music here is something else entirely. Gil Evans inspired noir-jazz, whimsical magical mystery pop, gentle acoustic guitar interludes, garage rock, funky trash Rn’B, pensive piano solos, telephone conversations - it's all here! While generally put in the Krautrock camp with fellow German visionary groups like Can and Kraftwerk, Faust are really a genre on their own.

Record in excellent condition with no sign of play. Slight pops on run-in, usual for vinyl. No scuffs or bad marks.
The unlaminated sleeve is a little discoloured with age and but no rips or writing.
