What an amazing album!!  He is so young on many of these tracks that he just sounds like a kid!  It's not quite the Fats Domino we were used to hearing throughout the 1960's with the rich deep voice, he is almost an alto/soprano on some tracks.  Additionally this is a very rare Black Imperial Label with Stars MONO!  Quite valuable and in stunning condition.  Interestingly, on this LP, which is of a heavy vinyl press, in between tracks you can hear a very faint voice speaking in the studio behind him, it's like a ghost from the original recording tapes....very cool!  Of course this has absolutely NO effect whatsoever upon the tracks as they are cut in beautifully.  Just cool that the old technology is here to be heard on the disc.

Typically I would place a "reserve" on such a valuable listing, I have instead opted to put a starting bid at about half of what the reserve would be.  Believe me, it's well worth this opener and far more!

VINYL is VISUALLY GRADED as EXCELLENT and PLAY GRADED as EXCELLENT  No scratches, very light surface scuffs, No nicks or hairlines.  Plays beautifully with only a small amount of sporadically rare tics and light crackle that is faint at worst.

 LABELS are MINT MINUS No spindle marks, rips, tears or writing, just a bit of light wear from age.

JACKET is VISUALLY GRADED as NEAR MINT There are NO splits, No dimpled corners, No ring wear and the title seam is fully legible, the "near" comes from a black marker 14 and a letter s in the upper back right corner, small, but there.   This is a Stereo jacket that has a sticker over the back Stereo number and there is residue on the front number where there was once a sticker over the Stereo LP 12091 indicating that they covered the stereo number and used these jackets to house Mono copies as well.  Must have more of them than they needed.
