On auction here we have a 7 inch vinyl Single from:
The Fascinations
Title: Girls Are Out To Get You
The B side is: You Be Sorry

Catalogue number WI 4049
Label: Sue (yellow and red)

Release Year: 1968
This single, produced by Curtis Mayfield was a big Soul hit back in its day and crossed over to be a Northern Soul dancer.
This single plays very well and I have graded it VG + overall It is probably better than this however, but I wanted to grade as accurately as possible 
The A side does have a small scratch in the opening grooves but the only effect this has on the sound, is in the form of some start up crackles, and one slight pop as the song gets going. After this brief period, it sounds fine and there are no more problems.
There are no jumps or anything like that,
The B side is a sweet soul ballad and to be honest you would be buying the single for the A side.Again there are start up crackles but the song then plays well.


The only little mark is on the center label. The Sue label has a stamped initial on it, in black . It looks like a combined J and F. 
 I cannot make it out clearly but I do not think it is a Demo or Promo, but more than likely an owners initials I bought this single about 15 years ago from a soul dealer.
The record comes in a white cardboard sleeve, which was how I originally got it.

It is a great tune and brings back a lot of Soul scene memories.
