On offer here is a ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing LP from FAMILY called 'Music in a Doll's House' on the Tri colour Reprise label. An impresssive example that will definately not disappoint!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL IS THAT IT IS IN MEGA RARE MONO VERSION!!!! What this LP makes special is that it comes with the EARLIEST A3 G & B3 G MATRIXES ENDING NUMBER, 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending' Flipback laminated cover, 1st Press Tri colour label format!!! This 1st press is now extremley hard to find in any condition but this copy is truly GREAT!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!!

CONDITION VINYL

IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight. We could not "feel" these abrasions with our fingertip, and we suspect that they are NOT audible. The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings and so it could play with NO significant defects - skips, pops or sticks!!!

RECORD LABEL The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! VISUAL CONDITION Most of these 60s/70s LPs are played into submission or badly marked or scratched, and almost unplayable or are in a sorry state. This one is NOT!!! The vinyl is visually SUPERB with highly polished, glass like surfaces. Virtually unmarked under ordinary light. Closer inspection under a strong light one can observe only a few VERY LIGHT surface marks and NO feelable!!! The visual must grade Excellent if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! Graded STRICTLY to the UK Record Collector grading standards.

CONDITION SLEEVE

The Original 1st PRESS 'Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending' Flipback Laminated cover is in GREAT condition!!! It has NO writing, NO split, NO tears, NO rips!!! The text on spinal edge is perfectly readable and the three flipback on back are perfectly attached and with NO lift!!! It has only a few tiny scuffs on edges and only a crease on bottom right hand corner. The cover must grade Excellent minus if not better!!!!

Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS SUPERB MONO AS THIS!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!!

Please take a look at all my other auctions for many other ultra rare classic LPs, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks again for looking, it's truly appreciated!! Cheers!!!
