FOUND. Inspired by a recent auction I decided to dig back into old boxes of 7 inch records rarely played but much loved.

So here is for sale a find: one of the original 33rpm 2x7-inch FAC-2s: Aside - Joy Division (FAC2-A) ; Beside - The Durutti Column; Seaside - John Dowie; Decide - Cabaret Voltaire. Original plastic sealed sleeve. Unripped and otherwise unmarked.

I guarantee this to be the genuine article, bought by me as a 17-year old in late 1978, maybe early '79. If this is not what I say it is then I will send you your money back.

Hopefully you can see the scratched in message in one of the photos of the run-out grooves: On Aside it says 'EVERTHING', on Beside it says 'IS REPAIRABLE', on Seaside it says 'EVERYTHING'; on Decide it says 'IS BROKEN'. I hardly played this at the time (I went travelling in 1979) and the grooves still look new (and now play wonderfully - the mark in one of the photos is static fluff. I can send more photos if required). The stickers are missing but may be slotted into an album cover somewhere or tucked in the back of a novel. I may of stuck them on lamposts. I don't remember. But if they ever turn up the winning bidder will get them - gratis. I am a genuine Ebayer, I sell stuff rarely and mainly buy - see my feedback.

Insured UK next day delivery and safe packaging will be 3.50 (overseas to be advised at the close of bidding). I would want to check out the cost of fully insured postage to the final selling value and could bill that if the buyer wanted. I wish to avoid using PayPal because of the huge cut they take (the car I sold on eBay achieved a disapointing net price after the PayPal 'pound' was cut out!). That said, if the bidder is keen/overseas this could possibly be negotiable. Either way, the item will only be sent/handed over once payment clears.
