A remarkably rare and highly desirable record by the best post-rock band on earth. Only 300 copies of this record were ever made; this in number 102 (see final picture).

This is Explosions in the Sky's first album, an absolute must for all fans of their stunning work. And it really is a bespoke product: a handmade and hand-folded quality card sleeve, lettered and numbered by hand in black ink. The design of the sleeve is unique (at least I haven't seen it on any record I've come across) - each of the four flaps fold together like an envelope, making it a beautiful package to open.

Inside you'll find two 180g pristine mint condition records that have never been played. The design is beautifully simple, with each side featuring a single word - "Explosions", "In", "The" and "Sky", to form the name of the band. The album was remastered especially for this pressing, on 180g audiophile quality vinyl, it likely sounds a hell of a lot better.

As if that wasn't enough, the package comes with a beautiful stencil printed on transparent plastic (see pictures two and three), exclusive to this release. This really is a release that has been put together with love, time and effort. I'd love to see it go to a good home.

As previously mentioned, the records are in absolute mint condition, having never been played. The sleeve itself is in excellent condition There is some nominal damage to the actual slot that holds the sleeve shut, but unfortunately it's virtually unavoidable to not wear the card slightly just by opening the top flap.

This is quite simply one of the most desirable records by any band currently operating on the alternative scene.
