Description

This is a terrific time capsule of the moment that Epic Soundtracks put his "emotional pop thing" of 'Fallen Down' into the twelve track wonder of this, his solo debut album.
Released on Rough Trade on October the 12th 1992, the accompanying press release described the collection of songs as a "real departure" from those familiar with his 70s and 80s releases. 
This package is a white label pressing of Rise Above with a handwritten roundel on the disc and three photocopied sheets displaying track listing with production contributions, a two paragraph press release with label info and release date and a longer overview of the album with a list of contributors and a few quotes on the process from Epic himself. 
I received this when I hosted an 'alternative' music show on local radio and loved it from the off. Despite its vintage the vinyl is in excellent condition. 
It really is a unique piece and I've be delighted if it went to a real fan.
