Description
Emitt Rhodes one of a kind Vinyl Test Pressing of Farewell to Paradise. The album test pressing was recorded at Santa Maria Pressing, a studio in California that was used for many ABC Records test pressings such as for Steely Dan.
The song list was typed and glued to the center of the test pressing.
One came unglued but is included. I could glue it back on, or you can.
The prototype Farewell to Paradise album cover is a mockup with a photo of Emitt Rhodes on the front along with some notations in ink and nothing on the back.
Search for a video online, made at a record store, to hear the Emitt Rhodes album being played to make sure it had all the songs on it and that it was in mint condition—which it is!
You will be the first person to play this Emitt Rhodes test pressing in its entirety since the '70s!

About Emitt Rhodes: Emitt did not become as famous as some musicians but has a cult following. He passed away in 2020. He was known as a one-man American Beatles. Farewell to Paradise (1973) was his fourth album and is described as an eclectic mixture of rock, pop, jazz-funk and soul.
