·       *** ULTRA-RARE, QUICKLY WITHDRAWN “FRAMED” COVER; THE COVER YOU SEE BELOW HAS NEVER OFFICIALLY BEEN RELEASED; IT WAS WITHDRAWN PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED RELEASE AND CAN ONLY BE FOUND ON VERY FEW COPIES THAT SOMEHOW TRICKLED DOWN TO THE RETAILERS BEFORE BEING WITHDRAWN. ALL KNOWN, COMMON, RELEASED COPIES OF THIS ALBUM HAVE A LARGE COLOR PHOTO OF EMITT RHODES WITH RED, WHITE AND BLUE PAINT SPLASHED BEHIND HIM. THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND COPY OF THE WITHDRAWN COVER WE HAVE EVER SEEN – AND A GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED SPECIMEN: STILL SEALED.

·       RARE ORIGINAL 12-TRACK VERSION (DOES NOT HAVE A SONG “YOU ARE A VERY LOVELY WOMAN); APPARENTLY, THE ALBUM WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED AS A 12-SONG RELEASE; AFTER A&M REALIZED THAT THE ALBUM WILL NOT CONTAIN ANY MAJOR CHARTING HITS, THEY DECIDED TO GRAFT THE HIT SINGLE FROM THE MERRY-GO-AROUND ALBUM TO THE EMITT RHODES’ SOLO ALBUM, WHERE IT DEFINITELY DOES NOT BELONG; THIS IS WHY THE RELEASED VERSION OF THE ALBUM HAS 13, NOT 12, TRACKS

·       ALMOST CERTAINLY PRESSED ON THE ORIGINAL TAN (BROWN) A&M LABEL, ALTHOUGH THIS MAY ALSO BE A WHITE LABEL PROMO.

·       THICK CARDBOARD COVER, AMERICAN STYLE.

(b)            The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(c)             The record is apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)            Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover has light "wrinkles" (creases) in two (2) corners.

-         Back cover has a few yellowish dust speckles scattered throughout (these tiny spots are not overly obtrusive or distracting)

-         Cover shows some light yellowing on back side, apparently from aging.

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-         No split seams

-         No ring wear

-         No cut-out (drill) holes.

-         No cut-out corners

-         No saw-marks or indents

-         No writing

-         No stamps

-         No tearing: no chips, dents or nicks on the seams

-         No peel-off marks

-         No stains

-         No mold or mildew spots

-         No stickers or labels

-         No water damage

-         No razor marks, scratches, pressure marks, lines, streaks, or cuts.

-         No warping

-         No wax, glue, paint or liquid drops on the cover

-         No glue traces or wax residue.

-         No bar codes

-         No RIAA stamps or stickers.
