Description
This is a beautiful Reproduction of one of Elvis Presley’s78 RPM records that he recorded for Sun Records out of Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950’s. Those originals are hard to find and probably don’t play so well all these years later. On the other hand, this reproduction was recorded on beautiful and clean vinyl and will sound so much better.
This particular record is: “Good Rockin' Tonight”/ “I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine” on Sun 210 from 1954.
I have no way of playing a 78 RPM, but looking at the vinyl, I would grade it at least Near Mint. It is THAT clean and unmarked. No scratches, so this must be a recent pressing. It looks like they used exact copies of the old 78 RPM labels for these reproductions. Being that they are on nice, clean vinyl, I would expect them not to be breakable like the Sun originals. They feel lighter like a vinylLP rather than like a heavy 78 RPM original.
These would be nice to listen to on older (but maintained) 78 RPM equipment, OR on a 78 RPM juke box!
