Description
ELVIS PRESLEY - "KING CREOLE" (LPM-1884) - AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1958.
RECORD: VG+ First Pressing with plenty of original gloss! There are some very light scuffs and surface scratches that are not intrusive. This record played great on test-play. I was able to pick up some "ticks" on "Hard Headed Woman" and "Trouble", but they were very light and not distracting. Definitely no loud pops, skips or repeats! The labels are very clean and attractive with just some light spindle marks. This is an Indianapolis pressing with matrix numbers ending with 4S/2S, respectively. It would prove quite challenging to locate a cleaner copy!
COVER: EXCELLENT with no seam splits! The edges are very clean and smooth all the way around, the spine fully legible. There is, however, some surface scuffing on both, the front and back, along with some light foxing on the back. This is a great, original 56-year-old album that is well-deserving of placement in a collection of high-end Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
INNER SLEEVE: Original RCA Victor sleeve from the era, depicting a group of easy listening LP's (Elvis was RCA Victor's ONLY Rock 'n Roll artist for a good number of years!), with the heading "RCA Victor's Popular Sound Spectaculars For '59". there are splits on all three sides.
GOOD LUCK!
