ELVIS PRESLEY - “G. I. BLUES” (LPM-2256), WITH THE SUPER RARE "WOODEN HEART" STICKER!                RECORD: VG- with many surfaces scuffs and scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. Expect some general surface noise, nonetheless. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are clean and original, but do show many light spindle marks. "G. I. Blues" was originally released in October of 1960 and includes "Wooden Heart", which was not released on 45 RPM until 1964, when it was backed with "Blue Christmas". The matrix numbers on this record end with 12S/13S, which are rather high for an early release, so this may have been a replacement record for the cover at some point in time.   COVER: FAIR with full seam splitting on both, top and bottom (please see all photos). Old tape residue is seen, mainly on the back side from a previous repair. The tape has since fallen off. A paper pull is seen to the upper portion on the front, taking some of Elvis' hair along with it. The "Wooden Heart" sticker is this cover's saving grace!                        INNER SLEEVE:  A period-correct "RCA Victor" gray inner sleeve.
