ELVIS PRESLEY - ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LSP-1951) - SCARCE ORANGE LABEL!

RECORD: VG with several superficial scratches & scuffs, however, none of these can be felt with the fingertip. This record should play well enough to enjoy, but expect some sporadic "ticks" or light surface noise along the way. This is the RARE Orange Label variety of this title that was pressed only between 1968 and 1969. By 1970, the newly updated "Elvis' Christmas Album" on the RCA Camden label was released, replacing this variety. These Orange Label copies are extremely tough to find and that fact is reflected in Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VII", where Near Mint examples are valued at $250! The labels on this Rigid Vinyl disc are VG+ with some light scuffing seen under a bright light. This is an Indianapolis pressing with matrix numbers that end with 17S/15S, respectively.

COVER: NM and still fully enshrouded in its original shrink wrap! The red Sticker which states "Stereo Effect Reprocessed from Monophonic" is affixed directly onto the shrink wrap and NOT the cover. An original store price sticker ($3.87!) is on the shrink as well. Beautiful! This very scarce album is one that every collector of Elvis Presley records should have in their collection.
