ELVIS PRESLEY - ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LPM-1951), A 1958 FIRST PRESSING AND RE-PACKAGE OF THE 1957 VERSION

RECORD: VG with plenty of original gloss! There are some scratches and scuffs, a few of which result in some audible "ticks", but there are definitely no skips or repeats. The vocals and instrumentation remain strong. The labels are very clean and original with just light spindle marks noticed. This album was released in 1958 as a re-package of the original 1957 version (LOC-1035), which had to cost much more to produce due to the bound-in photo album of Elvis photos. The record was assigned a new catalog number (LPM-1951) and all of the songs remained as original. This particular record, an Indianapolis pressing, was pressed circa 1960 and has that year's "Elvis Is Back!" Inner Sleeve. The matrix numbers end with 8S/10S.    

COVER:  VG with just miniscule splitting at the upper & lower seams at the open end. It appears that there is a very minor lower center seam break of just one inch. The spine remains clean and fully legible, although there is some spotted wear along the upper & lower edges. Some light, but noticeable ring wear can be seen on the front and back.    

INNER SLEEVE:  The original "Elvis Is Back!" Inner Sleeve from 1960. There are splits on all three sides at the centers, but no writing/check marks.
