Description

A QUICK MESSAGE TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS , APOLOGIES FOR MY RECENT ABSENCE , AFTER NEARLY A YEAR OFF FROM DEALING WITH ANY RECORDS DUE TO LOOKING AFTER AND THEN THE SUDDEN VERY SAD LOSS OF MY FATHER , I AM NOW BACK WITH A GREAT SELECTION OF MANY VERY RARE RECORDS AND OBVIOUSLY MY USUAL AND OTHER VERY COLLECTABLE 7" AND LP RECORDS , I HAVE LOTS OF FANTASTIC RECORDS TO LIST SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON MY LISTINGS , MANY THANKS .

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF MY 7" AND 12" VINYL RECORDS ARE PRO CLEANED ON MY PROJECT VACUUM CLEANING MACHINE , THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH ON BOTH SIDES AND INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS ETC THANK YOU .
ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL WHICH I HAVE SET ON A HIGH " TINNY " SETTING . I LIKE TO SET IT LIKE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / near excellent Condition " grade for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in greater detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use between Very Good and near excellent most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , ie better than very good and closer to near ( if not actually ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly between Very Good and near excellent , but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality and type of turntable / amps and stylus etc that are being used , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Elvis Presley Crying In The Chapel SCARCE UK RCA DEMO PRO CLEANED SEE DETAILS . On UK RCA Victor four prong green  silver print labels RCA 1455 . B SIDE: I Believe In The Man In The Sky .
COVER: Factory paper sleeve generally in very good overall condition . A few light general age related / surface / handling marks in places and a couple of darker marks in places near the cut out inner circle on one side , the catalogue number has been written in blue biro in the one top corner . The usual ring wear marks are present and there are a few bits of general light creasing / denting in places and the usual slightly more prominent creases / dent lines caused by the quite light impression of the outer edge of the record towards the corners . Some normal useage / age related wear on the top opening edges , but mainly just a bit of dent and crease wear . Some usual but small bits of denting / creasing etc on the corners and a bit of general but very light rub wear on the edges . I will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper sleeve .

LABELS: Four prong green / silver print paper labels generally in near excellent condition . Still nice and clean overall , there are the often seen inked numbers which appear on most demos , i think these are reference to the track timings , but i can't be sure , but these are only partly visible and very light only , there are just a very few light usual spindle marks . I can't confirm if this is the original sleeve .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a strong near excellent condition with just a very few extremely light non feelable surface marks and mostly very fine hairlines on both sides , there are no nasty deep feelable gouges / nasty deep scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot of the very few finer hairlines and actually very light marks are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please see below for audio description .
AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but very light noise . It plays through perfectly and still beautifully crisp and clear on the music playback but there is some mainly low level static like interference mainly just in the background pretty much all the way through , heard a little more at the start and very briefly in a couple of other places , though in no way overly excessive or deafening etc , most of this i must say is very light only and as i say is mostly just in the background , actually in some places it is barely heard , also none of this overpowers any of the music which still sounds fantastic and punchy , i hope i haven't made it out to be too bad and gone OTT , obviously it does need mentioning but i just try to explain the best i can , actually i'm not sure if this maybe something on the pressing as i really can't see anything obvious at all that would cause this as the record really is in very nice shape , all this said , bar this there was no other nasty loud crackle and no nasty ticks , there may just have been a couple of extremely faint isolated pops in places that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but quite light noise .
AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but very light noise . It plays mostly near excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i just heard a bit of very light noise mainly on the intro and very start , there was no nasty loud continuous crackle and no nasty ticks , i think i did hear two or three very very light isolated pops in places . Silent run off has some usual but very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome .
Yes there is some light noise mainly on S1 as described , but really nothing too over the top or dramatic and as i say still nothing that overpowered any of the music , but that said , because of this , i am starting this one off with a very low price , but i think it is still a nice example .
There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a great shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .
All in all still a decent enough example of this now very collectable and scarce item  . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc plus Ebays fees incl fees for seller postage costs ( 12.8% included in the total selling price ) plus their other now higher fees of 12.8% plus it's also now i think 35p per item sold . Please also note that I now send ALL non GF LP’s / 12" singles with a minimum of 3 stiffeners and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners ( more if i think they are needed ) , i never do and don't agree with making money from postage , but with all the added fees / extra stiffeners etc , all of this whilst not sounding a lot , does soon mount up and i actually do end up losing money on posting records , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service , sorry again for this , thank you .
