Great item for any Elvis collector!   There are only a few slight marks on sides 1 & 2 and less than that on sides 3 & 4. The cover is in overall good condition, with a slight infraction on the spine and some ink around the E on the front and the E (Elvis) on the inside cover.  I don't know about the sound, I've never tried to listen them, a friend of mine bought them from someone cleaning out his collection.
